Gallery V –  Installations (1980 – 2000)

I portray the devastation of war from my perspective as a contemporary artist. I seamlessly blend formal expression with political statement and embrace the importance of the aesthetic experience as a conveyor of a personal and political message – world peace and harmony.

I use painting, photographs and text in my collages and constructions to create dynamic works that examine human devastation of genocides, Anfal campaigns in Kurdistan by the former Iraqi regime, and cruelties in different regions of Kurdistan (Syria, Iran and Turkey).
